The owner of Besthesda sofware, ZeniMax Media has purchased ID Software.
This is great news as several months ago ID Software filed for bankruptcy.

To prevent those evil thread necromancers from reviving an army of undead threads i've implemented auto thread closing. If a post doesnt have any reply after 30 days, it will auto close. Several forums are exempt from this (like community news/game news, etc.).
This week's clan night will be the goldsource mod "Natural Selection".
Natural Selection (NS) is a modification for Half-Life 1. Its concept is a mixture of the FPS and RTS game genres. Teams consist of marines and aliens. Both have very different styles of gameplay and weapons. For newbies its best to start out as marine because its easier.
